How to Ask and Tell the Time in Igbo, Parts of the Day, and Greetings Based on the Time of Day

Ndewo! (Hello!) Daalụ (thank you) to everyone who joined the March meeting this past Saturday! If you're new to the club, nnọọ (welcome)! You’ve joined a community of people from around the world who are passionate about preserving Igbo culture through language learning. Below is a recap of everything covered in the most recent meeting:
Here’s what we covered:
Obinna Okani was the wonderful guest instructor for the March meeting. He offers interactive Igbo courses and will soon launch small group Igbo lessons at the end of the month. Visit his Linktree https://linktr.ee/interactiveigbo to learn more and reach out to him for personalized lessons.
🗣️ Obinna taught us how to ask and tell the time in Igbo, parts of the day, and greetings based on the time of day.
🖥️ The presentation slides from the March session include the entire lesson and audio recordings, allowing you to follow along.
⏰ For extra practice and a deeper explanation of telling time in Igbo using Igbo numbers, I encourage you to watch these short, beginner-friendly videos: Telling Time In Igbo Part 1, and Part 2

Instagram Giveaway
To celebrate reaching 1,000 members in the club, I am hosting a giveaway!
There will be two winners: a North American-based winner who will receive the items pictured below, and an internationally-based winner who will receive funds to purchase Igbo language books or study materials in their country or online, supporting their learning.
The last day to enter the giveaway is Tuesday, March 18th, and the two winners will be announced on Instagram on March 19th.

Upcoming Meeting
The next virtual meeting will be held on April 12th. New members and those who haven't attended consistently are highly encouraged to join! Each month offers a fresh opportunity to learn and practice speaking Igbo!

Remember to utilize your resources and practice speaking Igbo daily! This Shared Resource is a curated collection of resources and an Igbo survival guide of phrases and Igbo words. Please feel free to add to it.
Daalụ nu(Thank you all) and I look forward to seeing you at future meetings. Ka ọ dị oge ọzọ (Until next time/Goodbye)! 👋🏾
