Weather, Seasons in Igboland, and Summertime Activities

Ndewo! (Hello!) If you're new to the club, nnọọ (welcome). Daalụ (thank you) to everyone who joined the July virtual meeting about weather, seasons, and summertime activities in the Igbo language (n’asụsụ Igbo)!
If you missed the July virtual meeting, nsogbu adịghị/ adịrọ (no problem). You're encouraged to join the next meeting in August. First-timers are especially welcome—it's never too late to learn the Igbo language.
Also, daalụ to everyone in Charlotte, North Carolina, for another successful in-person meetup last week. Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming in-person meetups.
Here’s what was covered in the virtual meeting:
⛱ Dr. Chika Ojukwu was our fantastic instructor! She taught us about the weather, the seasons in Igboland, and the activities people usually do during the summertime and warmer months of the year. Onye nkuzi anyị (our teacher) also used each Igbo word taught during the lesson in full sentences.
🌦Mmiri/mmili na-ezo (It is raining), Oyi (cold), Ime njem (to travel), Ọkọchị (dry season) are just some of the many key terms and phrases that were taught during the meeting.
🖥️ The presentation slides from the July session include the full lesson, the audio recording to follow along with, and additional resources.
