Test Your Knowledge of Igbo Language & Culture and Convo Starters

Ndewo nu ooo! Hello, you all!

This past weekend, we held our April Igbo Language Club virtual meeting, and the focus was on testing your knowledge and strengthening your conversation skills in a fun, interactive way. We created space for you all to actively use what you’ve been learning and build confidence speaking Igbo.

  • 📚Test Your Knowledge: This Kahoot quiz is a great way to test your knowledge, reinforce vocabulary, and challenge yourself as many times as you’d like. Beyond just reviewing what you’ve learned, it also highlights different aspects of Igbo culture. Try out the self-study feature to quiz yourself.

  • đź—ŁConversation Starters: We’ve also included the conversation starters we used during the session. These prompts are designed to help you practice forming sentences, thinking in Igbo, and building fluency more naturally. Try working through them on your own, with a friend, or even out loud. The more you practice, the more comfortable and confident you’ll become.

Keep practicing a little each day, and don’t be afraid to speak, even if it’s not perfect. Consistency is key, and you’re making great progress! You can also revisit the slides from this session here for more resources.
