Igbo Family Members, Possessive Adjectives, Possessive Pronouns, and Talking About Family Member's Names in Igbo

Ndewo! (Hello!) Daalụ (thank you) to everyone who joined the December meeting this past weekend! If you're new to the club, nnọọ (welcome)—we’re thrilled to have you! You’re now part of a growing community of over 850+ people who are passionate about preserving Igbo culture through language learning. If you couldn’t attend the session, everything we covered is outlined below.
Here’s what we covered:
In this session, we had a very special guest, Chukwubuikem Anum, an Igbo Instructor passionate about teaching the Igbo language and promoting Igbo culture. Be sure to follow him and support his Igbo content on TikTok!
🗣️ Chukwubuikem taught us about family members in Igbo, along with possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns. During breakout rooms, we practiced introducing ourselves and talking about our families in Igbo.
🖥️ Slides from the December session include audio recordings for your reference.

Due to the growing interest in our in-person socials, I’m excited to announce another mixer in the DMV area! This is a great opportunity to mingle, make new friends, and practice your Igbo in a warm and welcoming environment. RSVP below if you can attend. I look forward to seeing you there!
I am planning on hosting more socials in other cities in 2025, so stay tuned!
